The Global Champions Tour in Berlin ended the weekend with a five star Championat course at a height of 1m50. After an exciting first round where many topriders had some difficulties with the awkward layed out course, it all came down to ten riders who kept it clear. The course was build with many difficult lines and many riders had a hard time dealing with them. In the jump-off only four out of the ten riders kept a double clear round. After a big battle it was Germany's Christian Ahlmann who under loud applause from the public finished in first place. With his Colorit (by Coriano) he decided to go for it and finished with a breathtaking 38.98 seconds on the clock. It turned out to be the fastest clear round in the jump-off. Italian rider Alberto Zorzi also decided to go for it and stormed to the field with his Contanga 3 (by Catoki) with whom he finished in 40.17 seconds just after Ahlmann. Dutch toprider who is on top off the rankings in the GCT, Harrie Smolders, and his Capital Colnardo (by Colman) also kept it clear around the course a second time. With 41.12 seconds he finished in a third place just ahead of Swedish rider Evelina Tovek and her Castello 194 with whom she finished in fourth place with 43.73 seconds. Speed devil Ben Maher decided to fully go for it with his beautiful Tic Tac (by Clinton).
