In the British Birmingham, a lot of classes were scheduled today at the Horse of the Year show. Several CSI3* classes were ridden today. The first 3* competition was a 1,50m class ridden against the clock. The victory in this class went to Guy Williams. He rode Casper de Muze (Triomphe de Muze) in 56,46 to the first place. The silver medal was for the young Belgian rider Jos Verlooy. He and Balloon (Balou du Rouet) speeded through the course and finished in 62,26 seconds. Phillip Miller became third with Da Vinci (Carthino Z). This combination jumped a clear round in 69;30 seconds. Only the top four managed to keep the zero on the scoreboard. Michael Whitaker rode Valentin R (Heartbreaker) to the finish line in 71,11 seconds, not touching any fence. The fastest 4-faulter was Victoria Gulliksen. She and Via vd Harmenhoek Z (Via Veneto) ended on fourth place. Besides a 1,50m class, a five fence challenge was scheduled as well. In this class, Goy Williams once again crowned himself an the winner. He and Depardie van t Kiezelhof (Tunder van Zuuthoeve) jumped to the victory.
