Yesterday's CSIO4* 1.50m Gold Tour saw home rider and living legend, Hugo Simon, speeding to victory. Aboard CT (Casall x Claudio), the Austrian show jumper had a blistering fast round, finishing in 64 seconds. More as a second quicker than runner-up Juan Carlos Garcia and Girano V Berkenboreck (Nabab de Rêve x Ti Amo vh Lambroeck). The third place was for Mexico's Santiago Lambre on Rahmannshof Before (Tenerife VDL x Matterhorn), 1.19 seconds behind on the clock. Riding for Ukraine, Ferenc Szentirmai and the 10-year-old Chaccland (by Chacco-Blue) placed fourth. The top five was completed by Gilbert de Roock's rider, Henri Kovacs.
