The Sacramento International horse show concluded day two with the $36,500 Murieta Inn, Spa & Restaurant 1.45m competition against the clock. A total of 33 combinations took the start, only nine crossed the finish faultless. Canada's Christopher Surbey and the 9-year-old KWPN-mare, Cavarola (by Corland) jumped to victory in 59.60 seconds Only Eduardo Menezes (Caruschka) and Jessica Springsteen (Davendy S) stopped the clock faster. Both pairs however jumped one rail down along the way. Hilary Mc Nerney and the 12-year-old KWPN-daughter of Acord II, Z Acodate Ddl placed second after a clear round in 60.66 seconds. Guido Klatte jun. followed in a third spot with Coolio (by Contendro I). The top five was completed by California's Richard Spooner and the 17-year-old Zangersheide-gelding, Chivas Z (by Cumano) in fourth. Uma Oneill and Clockwise of Greenhill placed fifth.
