In the Spanish city of Carmona, Ireland's Michael Pender just jumped to the victory over the 1,50m-high fences of the Grand Prix Longines Ranking class.

Aboard his eleven-year-old Belgian bred Casanova van Overis, he raced to the first place in 45,93 seconds. Belgian rider Patrik Spits followed with the only eight-year-old Casall-daughter Classic Touch DH in 48,98 seconds. That was almost fifteen seconds faster than the French combination of Michel Hecart and Astuce de la Roque. Charlotte Bettendorf also rode another great round for Luxemburg. She did that in 44,17 seconds with four penalties with Hope Street, another offspring of Casall. Michael Pender also claimed the fifth place with HHS Calais (Cavalier Royale).
