In morning it were the Italian home riders that dominated the showjumping arena at the Toscana Tour. Fellow countryman Giampiero Garofalo followed by a margin of nearly two seconds with his Larina Grigia (by Larino). Speedevil Emanuele Gaudiano might not have been fully awake and finished in third with his Jasper P. Aboard the 8-year old BWP bred gelding the rider cleared the course in 64.47 seconds, leaving another Italian rider Giovanni Luchetti behind in fourth place. The first international placing came from German Markus Merchformann. Aboard his Holsteriner Zofie (by Boritas) the rider finished in fifth with a clear round in 65.29 seconds. The 1.20m class got won by Maria Rachele Tiraboschi and Count on me (by Ukato) The pair just stayed ahead of Evelyn Sander with their clear round in 26.58 seconds.  Swedish Sander clocked 26.72 seconds with Vital Touch (by Indoctro). In the 1.15m class the whole top 3 was Italian once again. Jean Marc Rossetto stayed ahead of Manuela Baldassarini and Alessio Cipriani with his 16-year old Triomphe Z (by Tornado).
