Italian's dominate on home ground in San Giovanni

It were two italians who topped the podium in the CSI3* Grand Prix of San Giovanni in Marignano. On home fround DAniele Augusto Da Rios won the class aboard For Passion (For Pleasure x Rio Branco). He was followed by compatriot Massimo Grossato with Lazzaro Delle Schiave (Acodetto x Glucksgriff). Da Rios was just over one second faster as Grossato in the jump-off of this 1.50m class. A total of 36 riders went clear in the first round with only four finishing clear in the second round. The Italian top stage was followed by two French riders. Michel Hecart on Sire Jag de Courthoe (Jaguar Mail x Mister Sartilly) and Geoffroy Bouret with Sunshine de Roy (Tinka's Boy x Galoubet A)  placed third and fourth. The top five was completed by Italy's own, Juan Carlos Garcia and Vox Dei. Together with the Kannan-horse he set the fastest time in the jump-off but on the expense of four faults.
