Italians rule at the Toscana Spring Tour

Today it was an all Italian win during the 1.45m Gold Tour at the Toscana Tour in Arezzo with Luigi Polesello claiming victory.  The only outsider in the top 5 was French rider Nicolas Deseuzes. Polesello rode to victory aboard his 14-year old Panama Tame (by Carthago) in a  mere 35.57 seconds. But he had to keep a close watch on his fellow countryman as it was Massimiliano Ferrario who closed in on his winning time. Aboard Loro Piana Rigoletto dele Flo (by For Pleasuer) Ferrario only crossed the finish line a tenth of a second later. It was French rider Deseuzes who could stop an all Italian stage from forming with his Quilane de Lezeaux (by Granat de Grez). Together with his 13-year old mare the rider clocked 36.14 seconds to just keep another Italian rider at bay. Davide Kainich who was on the pursuit followed with Arian (by Cornet Obolensky) The final rider in the top 5 was also an Italian. This time it was Clemintina Grossi who rode her Quasimodo Z-son Zqausimodo R across the finish in 37.24 seconds. Go here to see all the results
