While most riders prepared for the Grand Prix in Arezzo this morning already over 140 pairs were ready for a 1m35 competition in the Silver and Gold Tour. On the back of the 16-year-old Chilli Z (s. A'khan Z) the Italian Laura Lorenzetti triumphed in the Silver Tour after a clear round in 66:65 seconds. With a time of 66:95 seconds the Norwegian Stine Loekken and Little Rocks Sister (s. Cash and Carry) ended in the second place followed by Metteo Giunti and his 8-year-old Balasz (s. Balou du Rouet). Belgian rider Gilles Detry and the 11-year-old Catwalk Capone (s. Upsilon van de Heffinck) finished their 1m35-course in a time of 68:04 seconds, good for a fourth place. In fifth place it was the Dutch rider Hendrik-Jan Schuttert and the 10-year-old Colorado HS (s. Indorado).
In the Gold Tour competition it was the Columbian rider Andre Penalosa who triumphed with his second and third place. Together with the 9-year-old Zidane (s. Calypso) Penalosa finished his round in 31:37 seconds. On the back of the 12-year-old Thomas Dell'astro (s. Fozby-Flop de la Bastide) he improved this time with over 0,3 seconds. But fastest pair in this competition was Nathale Chiaudani and ixdesesign Nostalgie de la Ro (s. Echogene Latour) finishing the second phase in a time of 30:54 seconds. In total 22 riders were classified for the Jump-Off, 15 of those starters finished without making a fault.
