A sad day for the equestrian world where the news reaches us that Irish showjumper Jack Dodd passed away. The 25 year old talented rider was involved in a car crash last week and has now lost the fight from his injuries. For over a week he fought for his live in the University Hospital in Maastricht (The Netherlands) after being involved in a singe car collision in belgium seven days ago. His death has devastated family and friends at home and abroad. Dodd, who just started his own stables earlier this year was a hard working young man who represented Ireland at senior level. He worked with riders of international level like Cian O'Connor, Shane Breen, Cameron Hanley and Bertram Allen. May he rest in peace.
