Jaclyn Duff on top in Bromont

The duo of Jaclyn Duff and Eh All or None signed another victory at the 2015 International Bromont taking first place in the FEI Open Jumper on Friday July 31, at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park. Twenty one horse-rider teams were entered in the FEI opening event today in Bromont on a course set up by course designer Olaf Petersen (GER). Twelve pairs made it to the jump-off, including Juniper Stables’ Jaclyn Duff, with two horses, Ali Ramsay, Justin Prathers and Elizabeth Gingras, in addition to Olympic medalist Mac Cone, Russia’s Liubov Kochetova with her three mounts, as well as Quebec riders David Arcand and Laurie Bucci. First on the course on Pater Noster, Jaclyn Duff completes her round with one time fault in 43.30 seconds, just behind David Arcand, who with one fault is ahead with 42.74 seconds on the clock. The first double clear round is signed by Mac Cone, on Gasper Van Den Doorn, but they are beaten by Ali Ramsay with her 8 year-old mare Hermelien VD Hooghoeve’s second clear round in a time of 41.70. However, it is the last pair in the competition, Jaclyn Duff and Eh All or None, who will steal the victory by just a few tenths of a second. As for rider Liubov Kochetova (RUS), she executes two clear jump-off rounds on Balou du Reventon and Veneno respectively, before taking eighth place with Veyron. In the winners’ circle again Bromont is a lucky site for Jaclyn Duff: while she earned her first victory with Eh All or None in an event sanctioned by the Fédération Équestre Internationale last weekend, the FEI Grand Prix on July 26 in Bromont, she dominated again taking first place at the opening FEI event at the International Bromont II.
