Jan-Phillipp Weichert tops the warm-up competition World Cup Final Beijing

This week the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final of the China league takes place in Beijing. Today they started with the Warm-Up Competition. It was a 1.35-140m class against the clock. German rider Jan-Phillipp Weichert won the class with the twelve year old stallion Exilio (s. Action-Breaker). He stayed clear in 62.88 seconds. He was three seconds faster than Clarissa Crotta and the grey mare Wavanta (s. Hors la loi II). She also stated clear but finished the course in 65.53 seconds. On the third place we see again Germany. Henry Vaske and Bloofield S (s. Balou du Rouet) stayed clear in a time of 70.56 seconds. The top five was completed by China's Xiakejia Wopa with Con Air (s. Con Air) and Jirigala Erdeng with Brikibo vd Bosbeek (s. Concorde). They stayed clear in 70.59 seconds and 70.66 seconds. Click here for the results.
