Jeroen Appelen tops the Opglabbeek GP

Last weekend the Sentower park in Opglabbeek welcomed the international crowd for their December 2-star competition. A few weeks ago Belgium's Jeroen Appelen finished second in the Sentower CSI3* GP, this week the show jumper rode to victory aboard Filesto van de Herkant. With the jumps set at a height of 1.45/1.50m it promissed to be an exciting jump-off with 14 horse-rider combinations. Appelen's compatriot, Nicola Philippaerts debuted with Ustina Sitte. The pair proved to be a combination to watch finishing second in this Grand Prix. Cameron Hanley and Cas 2 completed the stage. Swedish Jonna Ekberg and Air Pia VG Z keeps her form. The Stephex-rider finished again in the top ranking, this time as fourth. Caroline Poels-Devos (Chintorelio) finished fifth.
