After Sebastien Vigneron and Paloubet Du Château took home the CSI1* GP win in Mons, Belgium. It was time for the CSI4* riders to battle it out. The most important moment of the 3rd edition of the International Jumping of Mons, the Grand Prix 4* Hippodrome de Wallonia in Mons. The opening round was a very impressive one. Some gave up, many made faults and luckily some stayed clear (8). There were several nationalities amongst the qualified riders for the jump off. For Belgium, that were Arnaud DOEM with GASTRONOM DE HUS, Pieter DEVOS with DYLANO and Jérôme GUERY riding PAPILLON Z ; for France Robert BREUL with ARSOUILLE DU SEIGNEUR as well as Nicolas DELMOTTE with NUMBER ONE D’ISO UN PRINCE ; for Great-Britain Robert WHITAKER together with CATWALK IV ; for Mexico the couple Eugenio GARZA PEREZ - BARIANO, and finally for Spain Eduardo ALVAREZ AZNAR with ROKFELLER DE PLEVILLE BOIS MARGOT. In a first time, the second rider of the jump off, the French Nicolas DELMOTTE was leading with NUMBER ONE D’ISO UN PRINCE after a clear round in a very fast time. But that was only untill the last rider came in, Jérôme GUERY with PAPILLON Z for Belgium, who literally flew away with the victory !
