The second week of the Rocky Mountain Classic offered some top sport again with scheduled on Saturday, the $50,000 J.C. Anderson Legacy Classic Grand Prix. Organiser and owner of the Rocky Mountain horse show facilities, John C. Anderson, topped the class aboard his trusted Terrific. A victory good for $15,000. Edmonton-based German female show jumping rider Marion Ostmeyer, followed as runner-up with Roulett. Carly Kist and Emiel d'Or vd Durmstede placed third in the Grand Prix. The top five was completed by Red Deer's Femke Van den Bosch (Dereusa S) and Susan Anderson (Classic Care). On Sunday it was the 1.30m Modified Grand Prix that attracted the show jumping crowd. Lindsay Beadle and Caressina S had not match in the other riders. Taylor Panieri and Corad placed second, while Samara Heinrichs (Peninsula Vertigo).
