At the CSI4* DBK Riders Tour Grand Prix in Hagen it was the British riding legend John Whitaker who victoriously concluded his German adventure. Riding his 11-year-old sire Argento (s. Arko III) the british rider took the lead wuth 0,1 seconds on Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Unbelievable. John came in the Jump-Off almost midway and with his time of 38:50 seconds the Brisith rider pushen then-leader Luciana Diniz sown to second after she produced a clear round with her 9-year-old Fit For Fun (s. For Pleasure). Eventually Diniz had to be satisfied with a third place in this Grand Prix.
The top five was completed by Mohammed Ghanem Al Hajiri and the 10-year-old Murtajiz Al Hawajer (s. Pilgrim) in a fourth position. Also the Swiss rider Paul Estermann couldn't catch up the top three riders. On board of Castlefield Eclipse (Obos Quality x Not Recorded) Estermann finished faultless in 40:09 seconds, good for a fifth place.
