Johnny Pals speeds to victory in Liverpool

On the first day of the year the Dutch show jumper, Johnny Pals, won the international CSI4* main class at the Liverpool International Horse show. Aboard the 10-year-old Holsteiner stallion Fernando (by For Pleasure) Pals was the best in the 1.50m class. A total of 6 horse-rider combinations qualified for the jump-off. The Dutch/Holsteiner pair finished clear in 34.72 seconds. British Robert Bevis and the Chellano Z -son Courtney Z followed in a second place after a clear finish in 35.23 seconds. Robert Smith and Bavi followed in a third place. The top five was completed by Italy's Piergiorgio Bucci with Casallo Z and Peder Fredericson with the sBs-horse H&M All Inn.
