Julien Epaillard claims victory for home country in Lyon

The French rider Julien Epaillard won the CSI5*-W in Lyon today. He did that with the Belgian bred Instit de Jucaso (Cooper vd Heffinck x Darco). Epaillard and the nine-year-old gelding crossed the finish line in 31,69 seconds. With that time, they beat Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano and Chalou (Chacco Blue). Gaudiano finished in 33,32 seconds. Fellow countryman Piergiorgio Bucci and Heartbreaker van de Achterhoek (Bentley vd Heffinck). The rest of top five also went to the French. Grégory Cottard saddled up Selle Français mare Urhelia Lutterbach (Helios de la Cour II) for this class, and finished fourth. Robin Muhr and Unforgettable Damvil (Corrado) came in fifth. The British rider Claudia Moore and Elando van de Roshoeve (Rebus G) took the second place, Carla Garriga and Mylana (Emmickhoven's Diego) finished third for France.
