Katrin Eckermann suffers from a broken collar bone after rotational fall in Aachen

Katrin Eckermann broke her collarbone after a terrible rotational fall in the Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen. The accident happened on the open water jump placed as fence six, and both horse and rider went over hitting the ground hard' just as they did in Thursday´s Nations Cup. This time it did not end so well though, and both Katrin and Firth of Lorne had to be transported out of the ring to get medical treatment – Katrin to the hospital.
