American rider Kent Farrington has continued his good form by winning the 1.55m 'Longines Cup of the City of Barcelona' tonight. Held over two rounds, eleven riders jumped clear in the first round to go through to the jump off. Riding the 13 year old gelding Uceko ( x Celano ), Farrington finished up top after he stopped the clear at 46.52 seconds. Despite stumbling through a turn, Farrington was still two seconds faster than runner up William Whitaker. Whitaker was riding Upper Class ( x Concorde ) and finished with 48.34 seconds on the class. In third place and completing the podium was Marie Hécart and Myself de Breve ( x Quidam de Revel ), who finished with a time of 50.33 seconds.
