The French rider blazed across the course and finished more the two seconds ahead of Henrik Von Eckermann who claimed second spot. Third prize was for Ibrabim Hani Bisharat. Aboard his Belgian bred Elky van het Indihof DHC (by Toulon) Staut pushed the paddle at the Al Shaqab horse show today and produced a clear in 63.24 seconds. Von Eckermann followed with his stallion Chacanno (by Chacco Blue). But was not quite as fast in with his clear round in 65.38 seconds. However it was still enough to keep Jordan rider Bisharat and his KWPN mare Brown Sugar (by Chacco Blue) at bay. Fourth place went to Italian rider Piergiogio Bucci and the BWP gelding Hearthbraker vd Achterhoe. The pair just missed the podium by a hundreds of a seconds with their clear round in 65.61.
