Today the FEI World Cup finals kicked -off in Lyon, France. Besides the World Cup finals the CSI2* and CSI3* events can count on a big crowd. In the first warm-up it was Kevin Staut and the 12-year-old Kannan-mare, Oh d'Eole who claimed victory. The horse-rider combination jumped a clear jump-off in 31.64 seconds. Finishing almost one second slower, Ludger Beerbaum and Chaman (by Baloubet du Rouet) ended in the runner-up position. While an American double occupied the third and fourth spot. Ashlee Clarke and the Argentinus-stallion Argostar completed the stage after a clear round in 32.89 seconds. Compatriot Sear Coulter and Carmena Z made it to the fourth place. The top five was completed by Hamad Ali Mohamed A Al Attiyah and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum's former top -mare, Bella Donna 66 (by Baldini). The pair proved to be a new combination to watch.
