The WBFSH (World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses) Breeder Ranking for show jumpers looks a little different as of recently. Belgian breeder Wim Impens is right at the top thanks to King Edward.
The 11-year-old BWP horse (Edward 28 x Feo De Lauzelle) jumped to Olympic team gold and individual fourth place at the Tokyo Games under Henrik Von Eckermann last month. A total of 1310 points means the gelding now jumps over Explosion W in that same ranking. Ben Maher's horse, bred by W. Wijnen, is now in second place with 1295 points. Third place is also represented by a Belgian thanks to W. Vanderlinden- van Turtelboom - Ruys who bred H&M Indiana.
