This week the international tour at Spruce Meadows, Calgary, starts. Former Olympic Champion, Eric Lamaze, took a strong start by winning the 1m55 course. Aboard his 10 year old Powerplay (by Casall), Lamaze rode the only clear round in the jump-off. Ward MClain and Zander (by Cantos) followed in a second place while Pablo Barrios and Zara Leandra (by Metropole) had to be satisfied with a third spot. The last one to classify for the jump off was Egyptian Sameh El Dahan and his Irish Sport Horse WKD Pepperpot (by Heritage Fortunus). The pair jumped two rails out the spoons. Good for a fourth place. The top five of this 1m55 competition was completed by Canada's Tiffany Foster and Southwind VDL (by Baloubet du Rouet). click here for the results
