After last weeks Nations Cup and George Morris-clinic in Wellington the Winter Equestrian Festival has began. The official start was the $125,000 Trump Invitational CSI 2*. Victory was for Equiline-rider, Laura Kraut. Aboard her 17-years-old Cedric (by Chambertin), Kraut left Darragh Kenny and Fantasy in second position. Brianne Goutal and the Belgian Warmbred Ballade van het Indihof completed the stage with a third place. The pair has just recently restarted competing. Marie Engel (Indigio) and Beezie Madden (Vanilla) finished fourth and fifth in this competition. click here for the results
