Laura Kraut wins Longines Beijing Masters

Christian AhlmannThe winner of last years 'Longines Beijing Equestrian Masters', the former World Champion Jos Lansink, didn't succeed in prolonging his title. In total nine pairs returned for the Jump-Off of this great sportive event. The American show jumper Laura Kraut and U-Prova (s. Lorentin) made the finish in the unbeatable time of 37:36 seconds. Christian Ahlmann and the 10-year-old Cinetto (s. Canabis Z) ended in the runner-up position after a time of 38:97 seconds. The stage was completed by the 'local hero' Xiaokelatiabayi, followed by his fellow countrymen Zhu Meimei, Kenneth Cheng, Duan Yihua & Tongyan Liu. Last year's winner, Jos Lansink, had two jumping faults in the basic course and had to be satisfied with the eventual 21st place. © equnews.com
