Great-Britain's Laura Renwick and her 11-year-old gelding Bintang II (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Orlando) won Sunday’s CSI3* Grand Prix in Vilamoura. Eleven combinations cleared the first-round 1.50m track and qualified for the jump-off that turned out to be a fast one. In the end four riders were double clear, and Renwick crossed the finish-line 0.48 seconds ahead of runner up Lisa Nooren and VDL Groep Centora de Wallyro (Dobel's Cento x Aledo). Third place went to Francesca Cireisi (ITA) and Call Me Spock (Clarimo x Con Air) who finished nearly two seconds behind the winner. Brazil’s João Victor Castro and Quentin PJ (Quidam de Revel x Escudo 19) were also double clear and ended fouth, followed by the fastest rider of the day, Reynald Angot (FRA) who had to see one pole down with Symphonie des Biches (Kannan*Gfe Kwpn x Damiro B*HN).
