It where the English who were dominating the rest of the top five with a second place for Matthew Sampson and his Jaguar vd Berghoeve (by Emerald van 't Ruytershof) with whom he finished in 42.24 seconds, followed by Robert Smith and his Bavi (by Balou du Rouet) in third place with 42.99 seconds on the clock. In fourth place it was Robert Whitaker and his Noble Warrior (by Warrior) who put up a great fight and finished in 43.79 seconds.
