Leopold van Asten speeds to victory at the Longines Masters

Dutch show jumping rider, Leopold van Asten has ensured an orange victory today at the Masters One Salon du Cheval CSI5* Longines Ranking Class in Paris. At the Longines Masters the jumps were set at a height of 1.50m. Aboard the 10-year-old VDL Groep Miss Untouchable (by Chacco Blue), van Asten speeded to victory after a clear finish in 32.05 seconds, over two seconds faster as France's Aleandra Paillot. A total of nine combinations advanced to the jump-off. Seven pairs produced a clear jump-off round. Alexandra Paillot followed as runner-up in the saddle of her 14-year-old SF-gelding, Polias de Blondel (by Desir du Chateau). The pair crossed the finish clear in 34.17 seconds. Nicolas Delmotte completed the stage with the Nervoso SF-son, Urvoso du Roch. The pair was followed by Maikel van der Vleuten in a fourth place. Van der Vleuten tacked-up the 12-year-old KWPN-mare, VDL Groep Arera C (by Indoctro). The top five was completed by Daniel Deusser and Tobago Z (by Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve). Click here for the results
