The Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Shanghai just finished. Here there were only four rider who went through to the jump off. In this jump off there remained two clear Lorenzo de Luca en Maikel van der Vleuten. The fastest between them was de Luca, he came into the arena with Ensor de Litrange LXII, BWP gelding by Nabab de Reve. The two had a time of 38.05 seconds. More than a second slower came the Dutchmen Maikel van der Vleuten through the finish in 39.36 seconds. He rode his well-known VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P. (by Quidam de Revel). The Italian Alberto Zorzi got four faults counted in his jump off with Fai Light van't Heike (by Vigo d'Arsouilles) but was faster than Wathelet. This meant that with a time of 37.82 seconds he ended on a third place. The Belgian Gregory Wathelet ended on the fourth place in in the jump off, he had a time of 41.48 seconds and four faults counted with his 11 year old Cornet Obolensky mare Coree.
