Ludo Philippaerts wins Arezzo's GP

Ludo PhilippaertsThis weeks CSI3* competition in Arezzo finished with a 1m60 Grand Prix, designed by the Dutch course designer Louis Konickx. With a prizemoney of 25.000 euro and 60 starters it was the Belgian jumping legend, Ludo Philippaerts who triumphed on the back of the 10-year-old Denver van 't Goemanshof (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). After a clear Jump-Off in 37:89 seconds the pair was ready to hand in a cheque of 6.250 euro. Roberto Turchetto and the 15-year-old Baretto (s. Baldini) followed on the second place after stopping the chrono on 38:75 seconds. Oleg Krasyuk and S I E C Ledgepoint (s. Lancer III) completed the stage with their third place. Ludo's son, Olivier Philippaerts and Chamonix H (s. Equest Carnute) ended in the fifth place. Francesca Capponi (Stallone) ended fourth. © equnews.com
