Maikel van der Vleuten rules the day at the Dutch Masters

In front of the home audience it is Maikel van der Vleuten who rules the day at the Dutch Masters in 's Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.  Maikel speeded to victory in the 1.45m two rounds class.

No less than 15 combinations produced a double clear round. With over a second difference Maikel van der Vleuten speeded to victory aboard the 11-year-old Mr Blue-mare, Dana Blue. The pair was the only to finish in under 31 seconds. Germany's Marcus Ehning followed as runner-up in the saddle of the 13-year-old Cristy (Canturo). Together with the Zangersheide-mare, Ehning was followed by Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano with his Belgian Warmblood gelding, Kingston van het Eikenhof. Mieke Erpels' breeding product is a son of Epleaser van 't Heike. Local rider, Jur Vrieling settled for a fourth spot with Driandria (Carthino Z), while Denis Lynch completed the top five with Chablis (Couleur Rubin). Results
