Maikel van der Vleuten seizes victory in challenging CSI5* 's Hertogenbosch

A few minutes ago, the Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten crowned himself the ultimate winner of the CSI5* 1,55m in 's Hertogenbosch. With his thirteen-year-old KWPN-mare Arera C (Indoctro), he was able to win the jump-off with the fastest clear round. With a time of 33,17 seconds, he was a whole lot faster than his fellow countryman Johnny Pals, who was the last rider to go clear in the jump-off. He did that with Chat Botte du Ruisseau Z (Casall) in about 36 seconds. Swedish rider Peder Fredricson was aboard Hansson WL (Hip Hop) in this class. With this ten-year-old Swedish bred stallion, he was able to finish third in 32,81 seconds with four penalties. Henrik von Eckermann finished his jump-off with Flotte Deern 5 (Forsyth FRH) in 33,54 seconds and took the fourth spot with also four penalties. Roger Yves 'Bosty' Bost jumped Sunshine du Phare (Kannan) to the fifth position. Click here for the complete result.
