After the Middle East collected world cup points in Qatar they have now gathered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for their annual CSI3* -world cup qualifier. In the 1.45m opnein class it was the 14-year-old Cumano-zon, Chilli Pepper van de Helle who jumped to victory with Abdulrahman Bader Alrajhi in the saddle. The combination crossed the finish clear in 65.69 seconds. Norway's Anita Sande and For Cash 2 (by For Pleasure) followed in a second place stopping the time in 67.25 seconds. Chilli Pepper van de Helle is family of the 1.60m horses Hitoschi van de Cruyenvelden (by Winningmood) and Maradona vd Helle (by Sheyenne de Baugy). In the past the stallion was competed by Belgium's Kristof Cleeren. Ireland's Marion Hughes followed in a third place with her trusted Can Ya Maken (by Canturo). The top five was completed by Adeline Hecart (Question d'Orval, by Rosire) in fourth and Motfah Al Dhaheri (Jameelaty, by Ultimo van ter Moude) in fifth. With his win Abdulrahman takes home 10,610 euros.
