A total of 49 starters took the start this night at the Longines Grand Prix Qualifier in Lyon. In the end the crowd went enthousiastic when it was the Marseillaise playing as Pénélope Leprévost and Flora de Mariposa took home the win. After the first round no less than 20 combinations qualified for the jump-off. Frank Rothenberger finished with some faults, the first made on fence number six. Lorenzo de Luxa and Zoé II didn't go faultless either. First one was Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and Fibonacci put the pressure on the other combinations. finishing clear. It was waiting for Herik von Eckermann to put down the clock with some tenth's of seconds. But stopping the clock in 29.12 seconds it was Pénélope Leprevost who eventually took home the win. Henrik von Eckermann and Sansibar 89 followed in a second place. Meredith Michael Beerbaum (Fibonacci) finished third.
