Mathijs van Asten flies to victory in Asten

In the Netherlands the last course of the weekend was the final Grand Prix at CSI Asten. It was here Dutch rider Mathijs van Asten who ensured the Dutch win in the two star competition with his Brugal VDL (by Indorado) with a time of 37.04 seconds. Only eight combinations made it to the jump-off. It was British rider Mark Turnbull who came closest with his Cartouch III (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) with time of 37.96 seconds which put them in second place. Japanese rider Hikari Yoshizawa and his Conrato (by Caretino) finished in third place with 38.12 seconds on the clock. It was then Dutch rider Nicole Caris who finished in fourth place with her W Diva Rosa Mfs (by Wallenberg) in 38.74 seconds. Completing the top five was also for the Netherlands Eric jr van der Vleuten and his Casantos (by Carthino Z) in 41.99 seconds. Find all results here
