The final CSI4* Derby in Hamburg knows its best riders, it wasn't an easy course as only three riders qualified for the jump off and only one put in a double clear. The double clear came from Great-Brittain's Matthew Sampson. On the back of the twelve year old BWP-mare Gloria van Zuuthoeve (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve) he finished in 50,53 seconds, and so he took home the title of this prestigious Derby. Runner up was Gilbert Tilmann with Claus Dieter (Clarimo), their time was 53,62 seconds and they took four penalties along the way. The third and last podium place was for Sandra Auffarth with Nupafeed's La Vista (Lordanos), they had the fastest time (46,41 seconds) but made two faults on their way to the finish. Fourth place was for Benhjamin Wulschner and Bangkok Girl PP (Balou du Rouet). Holly Smith closed the top five for Great-Brittain again, riding Quality Old Joker (Slyguff Joker).
