Merci Myrtille Paulois !

The best mare in the world in 2013, and reigning European champion, Myrtille Paulois retired from competitive events on Saturday (1 Nov) at Equita Lyon. Myrtille Paulois will be returning to her owner Lady Georgina Forbes in Ireland to devote herself to her new career as a breeding mare. Roger-Yves Bost, her rider, and current European champion, said: "My best memory is probably here in Lyon when I won in front of this amazing public, which pushes us to victory. I sincerely thank the owner, who had confidence in me, my team, Claude and, Christophe, and Philippe Guerdat who selected me for the European championships. I'd also like to thank Equita for giving me the chance to say goodbye to Myrtille here; and of course, a big thank you to her."
