Mexico Defends Home Soil in 1.60 Longines Grand Prix

The 1.60M Longines Grand Prix commenced today in Xalapa, Mexico at Club Hìpico Coapexpan, where a field of 24 horse and rider combinations contested the course. The victory was a Mexican trifecta as the top three podium finishers were all home athletes. The track proved difficult and only two riders were clear to move on to the jump-off. The victory belonged to Lorenza O'Farrill and 11-year-old Oldenburg mare Calvira (Calvaro/Colander).
