At the Outdoor Gelderland it was Dutch show jumping rider, Michel Hendrix who topped the internaitonal Grand Prix. Two weeks after his first CSI4* Grand Prix win in Bolesworth, Hendrix now topped the CSI3* Outdoor Gelderland. Both victories were claimed aboard his gelding Baileys. Ony eight combinations from the 50 starters in total, placed for the jump-off. Half of them were from the Netherlands. Aboard Con Quidam RB 18-year-old Sanne Thijssen took the lead for a long time. However Hendrix, who was the second but last to start, set a faster time. "It is amazing to win on home soil. Sanne Thijssen did an amazing job, but lucky Baileys his big canter gave me the advantage," states Hendrix.
