Molly Ashe Cawley tops the CSI3* Angelstone Grand Prix

The international horse show CSI3* Angelstone in Rockwood, Wellington saw the $86,000 DElta Hotel & Dwight Crane Grand Prix on Saturday evening, August 20. A total of 24 combinations took the start in this 1.45m class. Only three combinations produced a clear first round, two decided to start in the jump-off. Aboard Louisburg Farm's Balous Day Date, Molly Ashe Cawley topped the class after a clear finish in 36.023 seconds. Ali Wolff and Quirie 2 did their best to beat the time. However in their attempt they jumped one rail down, placing second. Keean White and For Freedom Z finished third after a clear first round. However the combination saw the end of their compition and decided not to start in the final jump-off. Ireland's Conor Swail set a very fast time in the first round aboard Dillinger, eventually placing fourth. Aboard Grafton the Irish show jumping rider completed the top five.
