Before tonight's Global Champions League in Cannes all eyes were on the Cannes Stars. The team fielded their heavyweight riders this weekend. Top French rider Roger-Yves Bost united once more with Germany’s brilliant Marco Kutscher. Not making one fault it was eventually Monaco Aces who took the win. Leopold van Asten (VDL Groep Miss Untouchable) and Maikel van der Vleuten (Vdl Groep Quatro) were followed by Belgium team the Paris Jets. Both Gregory Wathelet (Coree) and Olivier Philippaerts (H&M Challenge v. Begijnakker) concluded their two rounds with one jumping fault. Bringing the total score on 8 points, finishing as runner-up. The Cascais Charms finished in the third place. David Will (Quincy) and Pilar Cordon (Lennox Luis) collected a total of 13 points. The Rome Gladiators and Valkenswaard United completed the top five.
