Morocco Royal Tour: Ireland and Australia on top

In Al Jadida, the last weekend of the 'Morocco Royal Tour' is taking place. Today the 3-star competition started with a 1,35m class. The victory was for the Irish Marion Hughes and her 15-year old Heritage HSS Fortuna (Heritage Fortunus). She managed to jump a beautiful clear round in a time of 27,51 seconds. Second place was for Robert Whitaker and his gelding Noble Warrior (Warrior). Whitaker jumped a clear round as well, finishing in 27;74 seconds. Abdullah Alsharbatly and AD Argos (Padinus) ended on third place. They kept the wood untouched and finished in 27,92 seconds. The top five was completed by the Belgian rider Patrik Spits and Verdi vd Withoeve Z (Vigaro Z) and Ahmad Saber Hamcho with Chesterfield. In the 3 star competition, a 1,45m class against the clock was scheduled as well. In this class, 62 combinations entered the show ring. Vicotry went to Rowan Willis and his 10-year old Blue Movie (Chacco Blue). The Australian rider and his chestnut mare went like a blizzard and finished in 66,54 seconds. Ramzy Hamad Al Duhami ended on second place with Garlic vh Kapelhof (Tauber van het Kapelhof). They jumped a clear round in 67,39 seconds. Patrik Spits, a Belgian rider, completed the top three with Bellissimo Z (Bamako de Muze). They left the wood untouched and finished in 68;55 seconds. The top five was completed by Philippe Rozier and Quel Chanu (Flipper d'Elle) and Ahmad Saber Hamcho with Callahan (Contendro).
