At the Tbird showground it was Egypt's Nayal Nassar who won Sunday's $129,500 Grand Prix. Aboard the 12-year-old Lordan (Lordanos x Landor), Nassar produced the fastest of only two double clear rounds in this 1.60m competition. It was an exciting finish of the Nations Cup week in Langley, Canada. A bright sun welcomed the riders on a green ring. After the first round only five riders moved on to the jump-off. Against the clock Nassar was almost two seconds faster than runner-up Alberto Michan representing Mexico on the 10-year-old gelding Gigolo van de Broekkant (Heartbreaker x Concorde). Third and fourth place went to two home riders: Brian Morton on Atlantis T (Padinus x Guidam) and Amy Millar on Heros (Canadian River x Clinton), both with four faults in the jump-off. Ireland's Conor Swail and Grafton (Calvaro x Vondeen) finished fifth with eight faults against the clock. CLICK HERE FOR THE RESULTS
