The Irish equiline-rider, Billy Twomey has a new ride in the 10-year-old Diaghilev (Vangelis S x Handstreich). The gelding moves from the stables of Britain's Anna Edwards, who has had great success with the horse. The pair won the CSI 3* Millstreet Grand Prix in 2012 and ended second at the international competitions of Chanteleu and Millstreet. Billy himself has already don the first big show with the new horse. Together with Diaghilev Twomey had two clear rounds in La Baule this past week-end, ending on the 11th place at the PRIX RMC. The pair is now on the entry list for Rome the coming weekend.
