Nicola Philippaerts is the best in Gothenburg's evening class

In Gothenburg, the last class of the evening has just been ridden. The young Belgian rider Nicola Philippaerts once again showed why he is one of the best riders of Belgium.  In the 1,45-1,50m class with accumulator, he jumped a clear round which resulted in the maximum of points (65). He went fast as lightening with the 13-year old mare Ustina Sitte (f. Clinton) and finished in 46,15 seconds. With this he was a bit faster than Henrik von Eckermann who stood in the lead for a very long time. However in the end he had to take peace with the second place with Little Lord 90 (f. Lasino). The third place went to the British rider Robert Smith. He rode his 10-year old KWPN gelding Cimano E (f. Unaniem) in 47,70 seconds to the finish line and kept the wood untouched. The French rider Olivier Robert followed on fourth place. With his Fleur de Lune (f. For Pleasure) he jumped a clear round in 48,73 seconds. Malin Bayard-Johnssen jumped a clear round as well with H&M Second Chance (f. Carland). Her time of 51,12 seconds resulted in the fifth placed. Click here for the results
