Offel takes the Championat of Dortmund for a second year in a row

Germany's Katharina Offel has won the Championat of Dortmund for the second year in a row. The Ukrainian rider won aboard B Once Z (by Baloubet du Rouet). The pair had no problem in Saturday's Championat in Dortmund. They jumped the fastest clear in the first round, securing the last-to-go spot in the winning round. It was her former colleague Connor Drain from Ireland who was in the lead when Offel entered the arena.  After a very fast and good round on Zidane (Germus R x Landwind), Connor Drain stopped the clock on 32.75 seconds. After great turns everywhere and a race to the final oxer – flying in on a big stride, Katharina shaved off 1.26 seconds on Connor’s time though, pushing him down to second. Third was Eva Bitter who rode two beautiful clear rounds on Perigueux (Perpignon x Stakkato).   Click here for full results.
