At a height of 1m50 todays Arezzo Grand Prix offered an exciting example of show jumping sport on a high level. The winner of Spruce Meadows GP, Oliver Philippaerts, won this Grand Prix on the back of Early Morning Mist (s. Lancaster) finishing in 32:87 seconds. The Swiss Jane Richard Philips and Pablo de Virton (s. Andiamo) made the finish in 33:47 second and so took in the runner-up position. The stage was completed by the Belgian-Italian rider Ignace Philips and Vasco (s. Andiamo). The victory of this Grand Prix was good for a 'small' cheque of 5875 euros.
