About three years ago Patrice Delaveau and Ornella Mail HDC won the presigious La Baule Derby, today to did repeat it again.... The Derby Région des Pays de La Loire had fourteen riders lined up for the challenge. Three of the combinations did not finish the derby and none managed to stay clear. Only four pairs limited the score to a total of four faults, ending up on top of the results. France's Delaveay and the 14-year-old Lando-mare won the Derby in 2013 and finished third in last year's edition of the La Baule Derby. Today they finished in 144.89 seconds, taking an advantage of almost 10 seconds on the runner-up. Dutch Wout-Jan Van der Schans and Zorro (by Numero Uno) followed in a second place after a finish in 153.63 seconds. Third place was for Belgium's Jérome Guery and Chillipepper (by Carogran) who ended three seconds behind Van der Schans. Switzerland's Martin Fuchs was the slowest four faulter with Uzo van het Hobos Z, ending in the fourth place. After his victory Delaveau said to be happy to win the Derby again after his 2013-edition victory. He is still surprised by the capability and technique of Ornella, definitely when she is jumping in La Baule. CLICK HERE FOR ALL RESULTS
