The last weekend of the MET II tour in Oliva has started of yesterday with clear round classes for the young horses. Today these young horses had to step up a little, because not only did they had to jump clear, in order to win, fast was the only way. The first class of the morning was the 5yo 1.15m CSIYH. There were 23 starts in this class, but only 9 combinations managed to stay double clear. The victory was for Philip Carey(IRL) and Ashgrove Lexington who finished in 36,06 seconds. Harold Boisset(FRA) took second place with his Corland stallion Mowgli Bellissimo. Harold was only 0,17 seconds slower than Philip Carey and finished in 36,23 seconds. Kenneth Graham(IRL) came in 3th, he rode the Quasimodo Z gelding Hyves-Onde W and crossed the finish line in 38,01 seconds. In the 6yo 1.30m Class 71 combinations appeared at the start but the top 3 was completely Irish. The winner was Neal Fearon who ticked of the clock in 29,50 seconds, together with his horse Tuilleadh Uisce Beatha (v.Ustinov) Seconds came Shane O'Reilly with Belga du Thot (v.Mozart des Hayettes). They stayed double clear in a time of 31,33 seconds. To the top 3 we add David Simpson and Diarados Black Diamond(v. Diarado), they finished in a time 32,19seconds. During the last class of the day, the 7yo 1.40m Class the victory was for Belgium. Cyril Cools won this class with his For Pleasure gelding Kid Pleasure d'Asschaut. They finished in an unbeatable time of 36,32 seconds. Harold Boisset (FR) tried really hard to beat Cools' time but was 0,30 seconds slower. Together with Kitty S (v. Diarado) he finished in 36,62 seconds. Edouard Mathe (FR) and his Olala de Buissy mare, Anabelle de Caudard, completed the top 3, Edouard crossed the finishline in 36,97 seconds.
